With support for 4K60 HDR passthrough, 4K60 SDR/1080p60 HDR capture, and high frame rate formats like 1440p120 and 1080p240, 4K S delivers powerful plug-and-play flexibility that's made even easier with Elgato Studio.

🔁 Firmware updates

  • New firmware for HD60 X, 4K S and Game Capture Neo fixes audio crackling issues
  • Improved compatibility with Switch 2 when using HDR for HD60 X

 

🛠️ Performance improvements and bug fixes

  • Enhanced icons for HDMI signal and HDR/SDR status
  • (Windows) HD60 S+: Resolved an issue where a message would appear incorrectly warning about a USB 2.0 connection even if the connection is USB 3.0
  • (Windows) 4K60 Pro MK.2: The HDMI signal status will now update correctly
  • (Windows) Recordings will automatically restart after 3 hours. Longer continuous recordings are not supported currently supported
  • (macOS) Fixed a bug where the sound level meter showed noise on analog input
  • (macOS) Resolved a crash that occurred when connecting a capture device
  • We've updated the icon to give it a fresh and modern look
  • Firmware update flow optimizations for HD60 X and 4K S
