What's new in Elgato Studio 1.0.5?

 

🎮 4K S Firmware Update

We've released a new firmware update for 4K S (MCU 251203) that resolves an issue causing black dots and artifacts when capturing at 1440p120. We've also updated the 4K S EDID to add support for 2560x1080 ultrawide resolution.

🛠️ Improvements & bug fixes

• (macOS) Fixed a crash that could occur after a firmware update with an HDMI source connected
• (macOS) The frame rate will now display correctly after the input resolution changes
• (macOS) Fixed an issue where the app could freeze when switching between multiple capture devices
• (macOS) Resolved an issue where the Stream Deck plugin Full Screen action did not work reliably
• (macOS) Fixed an issue where popups didn't work when the device settings panel was hidden at startup
• (macOS) The firmware update page now refreshes after a successful update
